Takoume Oden/たこ梅 本店
Escape from the hustle and bustle of Dotonbori,
Osaka, and suddenly stop.
``Takoume Honten'' - Founded in the Edo period,
it is said to be the oldest oden shop in Japan.
I see, it's in restaurants like this that you can find the real taste.
Once you pass through the noren curtain,
you'll find yourself inside a small store with a historical feel.
There is a large pot behind the counter,
and the gentle aroma of the soup stock wafts out along with the steam.
This is definitely a delicious oden.
I was looking forward to it.
I'll enjoy having this
First, let's start with the famous ``Tako Kanroni''.
When you pick it up with chopsticks, it's surprisingly soft.
One bite... Wow, this is amazing.
The sweet and salty broth spreads out and
blends perfectly with the flavor of the octopus.
The more you bite into it, the more flavor it brings out,
which is truly a long-established technique.
Next, stuff your mouth with daikon radish, a staple of oden.
It's cooked to such a degree that you can
easily put your chopsticks through it.
The soup is soaked to the core, and
when you put it in your mouth, the flavor spreads.
It's gentle and has a somewhat nostalgic taste.
Phew...Amazing.
Enjoying it with hot sake on a cold day will make for a great night.
Thank you for the meal
Octopus plum oden has a deep flavor.
Let's come again. Next time I would like to try the paste.
