Hokkyokusei Shinsaibashi Main Branch/北極星 心斎橋本店

Hoo… Today, I decided to visit "Hokkyokusei Shinsaibashi the original Store." As soon as I stepped inside, I was hit with a calm atmosphere, and I felts  a sense of peace flowing in the air. Of course, I ordered their signature dish, the omelette rice.

Just like that , the omelette rice was brought to my table, it was a beautiful looking masterpiece , with the golden egg omelette gently enveloping the rice. Beneath the fluffy egg, the ketchup rice was hidden, and just from the appearance, my anticipation grew.

I took a bite, and the omelette melted gently in my mouth, feeling as light as if I were riding clouds. The creamy flavor of the egg blended perfectly with the slight tanginess of the ketchup rice, creating a pleasant aftertaste. As I continue, pieces of chicken and vegetables peek out from the rice, adding more depth to the flavor. The balance is simple yet profound.

With every bite, I feel the straightforward, simple taste. But within that simplicity, the store’s attention to detail and care is clear. This kind of flavor that really touches the heart.

As I slowly savor each bite, I dream of relaxing and  eating this dish  on a quiet, chill night by myself . It’s simple, yet unforgettable… this is the best of the best  omelette rice.
